Dallas - what can we say about it?
We lived here for over 30 years before beginning our travels, so there is not much we have to say about it that's exciting - except that we get to see our friends and eat some of our favorite foods. We slipped those fun activities in between our semi- annual doctor, dentist, hair care, and car maintenance appointments. Oh yeah, we also visited the Dallas Arboretum. It is much grander and more beautiful than we have ever seen it. We are glad we visited. Here are photos of the Dallas Arboretum which we visited with our friend Treva. Even the vegetables were beautiful. The special exhibit for the month was bronze sculptures of famous people. See if you can guess who they are. We visited Sunny Donuts for Don's favs. Fernando's Mexican Restaurant was top on Donna's list for their delicious food and drink. Don loves Spring Creek Barbeque for hmmmm - oh yeah - barbecue! Of course, Handel's Ice Cream, Braum's, Culver's, and Andy's Custard were must stop
