It's 2023!!
Happy New Year! Where did 2022 go?!?! It seems like the years are passing by faster. We like to think it's because we're having so much fun and not because we are getting old! We celebrated by wearing party hats too small for the top of our head and toasting with a diet Coke! Our usual gift to ourselves over the holidays is lottery tickets in the hopes of winning some fast cash. Wouldn't that be exciting! While we had fun and returned to the store four times with our diminishing winnings to purchase more, it all fizzled out to a big fat 0! Overall, we spent $131 of our own money, won $137, and scratched off 16 $5 tickets, 52 $3 tickets, and 16 $2 tickets. The outdoor skating rink was busy including a birthday party with 24 kids that had never been skating before. Needless to say, it provided us about an hour's worth of entertainment watching the ups and downs (if you get our drift).
